For these existing buildings, with existing natural ventilation in Munich, the use of a demand controlled ventilation was inexpensive and very easy to install:

• existing exhaust grilles are replaced by humidity sensitive GHN,
• at shunt duct outlet, a VBP low pressure hybrid fan is installed,
• at windows, new air inlets are installed.
